Joey provides general, research-informed guidance about children's speech, language, and development, including milestone guidance, family activity cards, word cards, and an AI-assisted question feature. Content is general information for educational purposes. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or therapy, and it does not replace qualified professionals such as speech-language pathologists. Always consult a qualified professional about concerns regarding a specific child.

Some content is available free of charge; other content requires a paid family membership.

You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You agree not to misuse the Service. You must not:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate anyone's rights;
• engage in fraud, spam, or deceptive practices;
• infringe our intellectual property or anyone else's;
• interfere with the Service's security, including introducing malware, probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, or attempting to gain unauthorized access;
• scrape, harvest, or extract content or data from the Service at scale; or
• bypass or circumvent paywalls, access limits, or technical restrictions.

You must also not reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by applicable law, and you must not resell or redistribute Service content.

The Service includes an AI-assisted feature that answers general development, speech, language, and learning questions. When using it:

• Do not submit unlawful content, content that sexualizes minors, deepfakes, hate speech, malware, or prompts designed to jailbreak or misuse the AI.
• You are responsible for your prompts, how you use the outputs, verifying their accuracy, and having the rights to any content you submit.
• You should not submit personal details about a child or other private information. The AI feature is designed for general questions only.
• AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are not suitable as a substitute for professional advice without oversight from a qualified professional.

As between you and us, you retain rights to the prompts you submit, and we retain rights to the Service, its models, and the content we provide. If you believe AI-generated content available through the Service infringes your rights, contact us and we will investigate and may remove or restrict the content. Repeated infringement may lead to suspension of your account.

We may filter, refuse, remove, or restrict content or AI outputs, and may suspend accounts, to enforce these Terms and keep the Service safe.

Paid memberships are offered on a monthly or annual subscription basis and unlock subscriber content for your family's personal use. Your membership continues until cancelled and renews automatically at the interval you selected unless cancelled before renewal.

Memberships are sold by MyCityCopilot LLC. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. You can update your payment method or cancel at any time from the membership page.

We may change membership pricing or what a plan includes. If we change the price of your membership, we will give you reasonable advance notice before the change applies to your renewal.

We own the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, design, illustrations, cards, written guidance, and branding. While your membership is active and in good standing, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service and its content for personal, non-commercial family use within the plan you selected.

You may not copy, resell, redistribute, sublicense, or make Service content available to others outside your household, or use it to build a competing product. If you post feedback or suggestions, you grant us a limited licence to use them solely to operate and improve the Service.

We work hard to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, or that any particular content or feature will always be available. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies.

You may stop using the Service and cancel your membership at any time. When your access ends, your right to use the Service and its content ends, and data associated with your account will be deleted or anonymized in line with our Privacy Notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The Service provides general information and does not warrant any particular developmental outcome for any child.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from content you submit, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America and of the U.S. state in which MyCityCopilot LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that state have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.

You may not assign your account or these Terms to anyone else without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

We may perform under these Terms despite events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, outages of infrastructure we rely on, labor disputes, and governmental actions.
