Two languages won't confuse your child
Speaking your home language is a gift, not a delay.
Many parents worry that two languages will slow their child down. Research says no.
ASHA explains that bilingual kids reach milestones on a similar timeline. They may mix words from both languages. That's normal.
Use the language you're most comfortable in. Rich talk in any language builds the same foundation.
Try this: Read and sing in your home language. Count total words across both languages.
